LEVEL ARTIST
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create photo-realistic indoor and outdoor levels in game engine. Lights setup, instancing, placing particles, etc.
Work in-between Game Design and 3D Art teams.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience with game engines such as Unreal, Cryengine, etc.
Good understanding of light, composition, color-coding.
Intermediate experience with any 3D modeling package.
Understanding modular design.
Understanding resource balancing and experience in optimizing scenes.
Good English.
Preferences
Artistic/architectural/engineering education or background.
Versatility in used tools and performed tasks.
Scripting experience with Unity and/or blueprint experience in Unreal.
Understanding of both modern and legacy real-time rendering tech and lighting principles.
Knowledge of additional software is a plus (ZBrush, XNormal, World Machine, Speedtree, Houdini, etc.).
Hardcore FPS gamer.
